September 11, 2001, nineteen suicide terrorist hijacked four commercial airliners, crashing the first two into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York and the third into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The fourth plane crashed into a rural Pennsylvania field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania during a passenger revolt. The attacks killed 2,977 Americans making it the worst terrorist attack in history. In the minutes and hours following the attacks, hundreds of first responders ran into the inferno saving 1,000’s of people still trapped in the burning World Trade Center buildings and Pentagon. Sadly, 343 firefighters and 72 law enforcement officers perished that day. We must “Never Forget” the brave men and women who ran into harms way that day to save 1,000’s of lives. We must Honor everyone and everything we lost that day!
